Maddy met Kerri in high school when they played together in orchestra. Kerri lives in Boston, MA and is planning to pursue graduate school for Music. Kerri is a phenomenal seamstress and loves to crochet and make jewelry. Her apartment in Boston is stocked with all sorts of fabrics which she's using to make quilts, curtains, and everything in-between. Kerri loves a nice quiet evening with a warm beverage, classical music, and a project sprawled across her lap.
Ronnie's sister is working as a surgical tech in North Carolina. Lizzie has been studying hard to work in the medical field for the past few years and recently began rotations at Wake Medical. She has an adorable and spunky cat named Leo -- I'm sure she'd love to talk to you about him and show you her favorite photos. When Lizzie was in high school she had a stall at the local farmer's market on Bainbridge Island, selling bouquets and other crafts like painted ladybug and honey-bee garden art. These days, she delightfully knits Woobles.
Ronnie met David in fifth grade. One of their earliest memories together was talking about the in-game economy of World of Warcraft and different playstyles available in Titan Quest. In High School, Ronnie and David were some of the founding members of the Spartronics FIRST Robotics Team. They wrote the software which would help propel the team all the way to the World Championship. After college, Ronnie and David worked together at MRV for a few years, writing software for underwater robots to help measure the oceans and understand our changing climate. David loves to discuss car engines, philosophy, and societal issues. Beware of David on the joystick, he's wicked-good at playing Street Fighter.
Maddy's brother is a hard-working supervisor at Costco. Colin has a keen eye for quality items and always loves a good deal. He's got his finger on the pulse of "what's new" and what might be going away soon. Colin studies widely and loves to read about modern history and geopolitics. Colin really enjoys cooking recipes from NYT Cooking and he has a high tolerance for spicy food -- often seeking out Szechuan restaurants in the area.
